The large supply center provides electricity to 17 settlements with a population of more than 4 thousand inhabitants, 13 water supply facilities, several rural health posts, schools, kindergartens, a church, and a street lighting system.

According to the plans of the 2020 repair campaign, power plants will carry out current repairs of two 110 kV power transformers, overhaul and current repairs of linear and section disconnectors, busbar disconnectors of 110 kV overhead lines of 110 kV Tabakovka, KhPP, Znamenka and Pashkovo.

A current repair of 110 kV circuit breakers will also be performed. Specialists of the substation service examine the oil, check the insulation and operation of the relay protection system and automation. A current repair of 110 kV circuit breakers will also be performed.

Overhaul at a large supply center is necessary to improve the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers. It is being held as part of the preparation of the region’s electric grid complex for the upcoming autumn-winter period.

Given the current epidemiological situation, the power engineers of the Penzaenergo branch of Rosseti Volga, involved in the repair work, are provided with the necessary protection and hygiene means. They are constantly monitoring their health status.
