Penzaenergo continues reconstruction of a large 110/35/10 kv substation Mokshan

20190809_100218.jpgRosseti Volga branch (brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) - Penzaenergo continues reconstruction of a large power center in Mokshansky district - 110/35/10 kV substation (PS) Mokshan. To date, 2 power transformers of 16 MVA each have been installed at the facility, disconnectors and switches have been assembled, 110 kV portals and modular buildings KRUM-35 kV and KRUM-10 kV have been installed.

"In addition, the installation of pass-through insulators in KRUM-10 kV, KRUM-35 kV cells, 35 and 10 kV bus bridges was carried out. A lighting tower was installed, a rigid busbar was mounted and so on, - said Dmitry Goldinov, Head of the Capital Construction Department of the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC - Penzaenergo. – Connection of power cables in buildings of OPU, KRUM-35kV and KRUN-10kV is being carried out now, laying and connection of control cables to control panels and protections in substation control house (SCH).

The territory of the substation is prepared for works on improvement". It is planned that pre-commissioning activities at the facility will begin on October 1. Commissioning of the substation is scheduled on December 30. 110/35/10 kV Mokshan transformer substation was built half a century ago and currently provides electricity to 21 settlements with a population of more than 10 thousand people, a number of socially important facilities - 10 schools, 6 kindergartens and 3 hospitals. Reconstruction of a large power supply center will increase the reliability of power supply, as well as significantly expand the capabilities of the substation in terms of technological connection of new subscribers - both individuals and legal entities.
